Vipassana meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka. The development of knowledge is a practical way to examine the reality of our own body and mind, to uncover and solve whatever problems lie hidden beneath, to develop unused potential and channel it for one’s own good and the good of others. During a ten-day meditation course we will remain within the limits of the course site, having no contact with the outside world. During the first nine days of the course we will remain in noble silence among ourselves. One must refrain from reading and writing and suspend any religious or other practices, working exactly according to the instructions given. However, you are free to discuss meditation problems with the teacher and practical problems with the management. For the entire period of the course we will follow a basic code of morality, which includes celibacy, and abstinence from all intoxicants.

Pranayama is the science of breathing, of the change of the rhythm of the breath, the inhalation, retention and exhalation. Pranayama is not a breathing exercise, but an exercise of awareness.

Kriyas are cleansing exercises to remove toxins from the body. There are six kriyas:
- Neti - nasal cleaning
- Nauli - abdominal churning
- Dhauti - upper digestive tract cleaning
- Basti - colon cleansing
- Kapalabhati - lung and brochial tube cleanser
- Tratak - steady gazing

Asana is a posture done with awareness, accomplishing maximum movement through minimum effort. Asanas will be practiced daily under guidance of different teachers: standing positions, backbends, forward bends, twists and balancing positions.
Iyengar yoga: the use of props designed by Mr. Iyengar such as wooden gadgets, belts and ropes help the practitioner to achieve perfection in any asana. “Yoga is a method of silencing the vibrations of chitta, the consciousness which includes the mind, the intellect and the ego” Mr. Iyengar.
Vinyasa yoga: The word vinyasa means 'Breath synchronized movement'. The technique is also called Vinyasa Flow.

Anatomy. The learning of the functional understanding of a manageable number of key anatomic structures in their settings as they relate to hatha yoga. Knowledge of these structures can be applied immediately to optimize your practice, overcome blockages and avoid injuries.

Teaching methodology. Observing the alignment in different asanas, assisting and correcting. We speak of 'alignment' when bones are connected to each other in such a way that the desired stretching is attained.

Personal teaching experience. Includes teaching classes as well as observing and assisting in classes taught by other aspirant teachers.
