 Two
hours of pure enjoyment floating down this shallow river in our
comfortable inner tubes. A beautiful and safe experience. Eagles,
hawks, vultures, herons and kingfishers are among the several species
that can be seen on this journey that has been described by some
as "almost meditative".
Since river tubing is seldom seen in these parts you might be asked
"A donde va?" (Where are you going?) by a friendly but surprised
local taking a dip in the river. Whereupon you can answer "Al rincon
allegre" (to the happy corner) which is where the two rivers join
together.
River tubing from June to January or February depending on the
generosity of the rainy season.
